Fascinated by woodworking and the raw beauty of the material, I first began embedding stone fragments into my sculptures. By scaling down my work, I discovered a facet of jewellery-making I never knew existed.
These early experiments deeply moved me—the pure satisfaction of finally creating a piece with my own two hands. One thing leading to another, through encounters with artisans in France, South America, and Morocco, the incandescence and fusion of metal ignited a true passion for this Craft.
The Craft of Sterling Silver and Gemstone Cutting
I was mesmerized by the Art of Fire and the ability to assemble metal through the mysteries of soldering. It took immense patience, countless trials, and a touch of apprehension to craft my first jewel. Learning the techniques of Amazigh/Berber jewelry allowed me to grow significantly in my practical skills.
Later, it was the minerals that called to me. It was as if these cold, inert masses with their sparkling glints were whispering in my ear. A new chapter was being written; the next step of the adventure. Guided by the rhythmic rotation of grinding wheels, I learned to cut and polish them in a lapidary artist's workshop.
After many breakages and the deafening roar of the machines, I was stunned by such a striking transformation. The stones flickered and shone like stars! Realizing the vital importance of the craftsmanship passed down to me, I chose to continue my journey as a self-taught creator.
The Excellence of 925 Sterling Silver and the Maker's Mark
Today, I craft my own artisanal jewellery using precious metals. For several years, I have worked primarily with silver and gem-quality stones. My pieces are entirely handmade and hallmarked in France, in my workshop located in the Pyrenean foothills of Occitanie. The silver is "solid," containing a minimum of 80% purity.
I wish to thank all those who welcomed me into their daily lives and taught me so much more than just how to work with materials... My deepest thanks also go to my family and friends who have supported and encouraged me to push further.
I have officially held the "Métier d'art artisan joaillier" (Master Craftsperson in Jewellery) certification since July 2025.
"The Craft, the journey of a dream."
